On the Menu, the week of April 28th

How was everyone's week? We had a great busy week!!! Lots of Soccer, T-Ball, Tae Kwon Do and Ballet...but the kids love it, and I have to admit, I love being a "soccer mom"!

I registered my son for Kindergarten on Thursday :( A lot of mixed emotions that day, I was excited because he is so excited to be going to the "big school" but very sad to know that he's going to BE at the "big school!"

My baby girl also turned 3 on Saturday! Where has the time gone!?!? She's growing up way too fast, I admit though I love to see how independent she is...she's a lot like her mama ;)

On to the menu...

  1. I feel for you on registering your son for school. Mine is going to be in his last year at preschool and they keep telling me that next year he is going to be going to school....I said, "Please no, next year I just registered him for his last year of preschool...give me a chance to get used to the idea first." It seems like only yesterday that they were little itty bitties!!!

    1. I know what you mean! I'm going to be a blubbering mess when I drop him off in August. And my baby girl starts preschool, how did that happen?

  2. It gets worse-- trust me! My oldest will be graduating from High School next year. We are currently looking at colleges for him. I know I am not ready for this!! In addition, this year was the last year for school parties with my youngest.....so we started a new phase in my life. No longer a room mother at school....not sure what is up next!

Enjoy each minute-- it flies by way too quickly and soon you will be where I am.

  3. Your menu items look great! I'm trying to get into the habit of menu planning because it's a real time saver!

I found your blog from the Mom's Monday Mingle blog hop at The Naptime Review! Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
